Apex Mountain Resort is located in the Okanagan Region of British Columbia, Canada, and is easily accessible by both air and ground transportation. 405km/ 240 miles east of Vancouver, B.C. and only 33km/21 miles west of Penticton, B.C. Apex Mountain Resort is accessed by major highways and well-maintained roads.

A 35-minute drive from the Penticton Regional Airport makes Apex Mountain Resort the closest Interior Ski Resort to an airport. (The Kelowna airport is approximately 90 minutes from Apex Mountain Resort). Airport transfers and car rental packages provide several options for ground transportation between airports and the resort.

Flights into both Penticton and Kelowna are regularly available through several airlines including Air Canada, West Jet and Horizon Air, through the gateway cities of Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Seattle. Connecting flights are available from any major centre in North America.

Drive times to Apex are 2 ½ hours from Big White, 2 ¼ hours from Silver Star, 3 ½ hours from Sun Peaks and Spokane, 4 ½ hours from Vancouver, 6 hours from Seattle, and 8 hours from Calgary.

DRIVING FROM PENTICTON

33 km, 30 minute drive from Penticton.
From the North or South of town, take the Channel Parkway.
Turn on to Green Mountain Rd, following the Apex signs. This turn off has a bridge crossing the channel, immediately followed by a Super Save Gas station.
Follow Green Mountain Road for approximately 22km.
Turn right at the intersection (Apex Guest Ranch) and drive another 11km to Apex.
Once on Green Mountain Road there will be very few signs & no streetlights,
don't worry, you are on the right road! These roads are paved and kept in very good condition. Plowing and Sanding is done continually as weather conditions require.
Chains are generally not required, but good winter snow tires are needed Oct to April.
